About Emily Campbell
Ms. Campbell holds a MM in Suzuki Pedagogy from Ithaca College and a BM in Violin Performance from St. Olaf College. She furthered her violin studies at the conservatories in Cologne and Detmold, Germany.
Violin teaching and pedagogy are Ms. Campbell's passion, and she has many years experience. She has received training in the Suzuki method, Musikgarten, Music Mind Games, and Dalcroze Eurythmics and has been a faculty member of the Westminster School, the Levine School of Music, Ithaca Talent Education, the Blue Ridge Suzuki Camp and the Levine String Camp and Strings Plus. For the past five years Ms. Campbell has taught as a Strings coach in the Strathmore and MCYO funded program, East County Strings.
Ms. Campbell has performed locally with the Fairfax Symphony and the Arlington Symphony. She has also played with the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, the Minneapolis Chamber Orchestra and with the Minnesota Opera Orchestra.
Currently Ms. Campbell directs the Suzuki violin program at her home Suzuki studio in Silver Spring, MD.
